Abernethy Butter
Butter how it used to be. Abernethy source amazing cream from a local dairy and take all the time it needs to blend into perfect butter using slow churning in small drums. It is shaped by hand using traditional wooden paddles to produce a velvety, creamy butter that would have been enjoyed by generations gone by.
Blas ar Fwyd Soups
Made in small batches several times a week, Blas ar Fwyd soups are brimming with flavour from the freshest ingredients and have won numerous awards to prove it. Their produce comes from local farms and growers, or is imported specially, and travels only a few short food miles from Llanwrst.
Posh Puds
Homemade cheesecakes from Anglesey, what more needs to be said?! Posh Puds is a family-run business who pride themselves on making, amongst other goodies, cheesecakes with flavour running right through, not just in the topping. Castell Gwyn Soft Cheeses
Castell Gwyn use milk from Jersey-cross cows at Mostyn Dairies, meaning their luxurious soft cheeses have some of the lowest 'food-miles' possible. They use traditional methods of hanging the cheese in muslin cloths before adding indulgent flavourings such as Welsh honey and Penderyn whisky.
Cae Pant eggs
Eggs from Cae Pant are truly free-range, with their hens being allowed to roam wherever they like during daylight hours. They have a variety of land and soils to grub around in plus trees and shrubs to climb and explore. Visit their Facebook page for videos of their hens' latest antics.
Dragon Welsh Butter and Cheeses
Proudly owned by the farmers who produce the milk, Dragon offer a range of cheeses from Vintage Cheddar and Leek to Welsh Slate Cavern Aged Cheddar, as well as their own salted butter.
